It would be better if you avoid using the verb "get" whenever you can and use a better verb.
1. He has been killed.
2. I will do the job.
3. Gas is over $3.00 a gallon.
There are many possibilities, depending on the context of the sentence. Read through some of these so you can begin to sort out the differences:

Overall, my suggestion still is that you work hard NOT to use any form of the verb "get" unless there's no other way to say what you mean.
