Find the values of x and y that maximize the objective function P=3x + 2y for the graph. What is the maximum value.

step by step please

okay, based on gurt, they're doing this (for those who need a visual):

P = 3(0)+2(8) = 16
P = 3(5)+2(4) = 23
P = 3(9)+2(0) = 27

Personally, I have no idea if this is right, yet. I'll probably come back once I get the results in and confirm if this works or not hhhh

poor yikes, may their answers forever be in consideration. i shall take one for the team and tell you if I get it right. <3

Wow yikes never came back to confirm. sad times.

Let us have a moment of silence for yikes who never came back

Yikes, come back!!!!

rip

i'll still take those answers tho if anyone got them

Plug the points into 3x+2y, for 0,8 you get 16, for 5,4 you get 23, for 9,0 you get 27, so the values that give you the maximum objective function is 9,0 and the maximum value is 27

Wow that sucks

thank you

It's been almost a year since Yikes left, the village has never been the same.

Some speculated that he died
Others say he never submitted his test
but deep down, Yikes will always be with us
