If point A is (2,4) and point B is (3,2) and slope is 2 what would the equation be in standard form?

Use the formula
y y1 = m(xx1)
You can use either point and the slope.
y  4 = 2(x2)
y4 = 2x + 4
y = 2x + 8
Now this is in y=mx+ b form
the question wants standard form. Can you finish from here?posted by Joe
