Calculate the % composition of H2S. Then determine the number of grams of sulfur present in 339.79 g of H2S.

*I don't know how to set up the equation after I find the % composition to find the grams of sulfur. Please help!

Thanks, Bella :)

The easy way, after you know % composition is

(%S/100)x 339.79 = ?g S.
This is no different than finding number of apples in a basket of apples and oranges containing 60 fruit and %apples = 25%. So
0.25 x 60 = 15 apples and of course
0.75 x 60 = 45 oranges
