2. Jill brought a bag of M&M's to her friend's house to share. The girls together ate 1/5 of the bag, leaving 2/3 of the M&M's in the bag. Write an equation to represent the amount of M&M's that were in the bag when she arrived at her friend's house.
Ans: m = 1/5 + 2/3 ??

Did they eat 1/5 of a full bag, or
Did they eat 1/5 of what was in the bag when she arrived?
