I'm writing an essay/interview on my partner. Is the word neglected a right way to describe how you would think she felt. By the fact that she was dressed as a boy.
I was the first girl after my brothers. My mom went crazy with the dresses that she had sewn herself. In the other hand my partner was dressed as a boy as a child. She said that the Chinese prefer a male to be the first born. In my opinion I feel like she was neglected. When I asked he how she felt she just said that it was funny.

In my opinion I feel like her parents cared what there neighbors/community would say about them and didn’t realize the impact they had on my partner.
