On my TI-83 plus graphing calculator it says

"ERR: WINDOW RANGE"

When I type in the equation and click graph that what it says.

Please help!!!!

This type of calculator is old, so odds of still having the owner's manual would be pretty low, doncha think? And google isn't always helpful, considering this is what came up.

The "ERR: WINDOW RANGE" error message on your TI-83 Plus calculator typically occurs when the range set for the window or the dimensions of the graphing area are too small or too large. This error message is often encountered when the graphing window limits are not appropriate for the equation you are trying to graph.

To fix this error, follow these steps:

1. Press the "WINDOW" button. This will bring up the "Window Editor" menu, where you can adjust the dimensions and range of your graphing window.

2. Review the settings in the "Window Editor" menu. Ensure that the settings for "Xmin," "Xmax," "Ymin," and "Ymax" are appropriate for the graph you are trying to plot. These values define the range of values on the x and y-axis that will be displayed on the screen.

3. If the values are too small or too large, change them to a suitable range. It's important to make sure that the range is wide enough to capture the entire graph but not too wide, as it may result in the error message.

4. After adjusting the window settings, try graphing the equation again by pressing the "GRAPH" button. The error message should not appear if the window range has been set correctly.

If you are still encountering the "ERR: WINDOW RANGE" error message after adjusting the window settings, there could be other factors specific to your equation or calculator setup. In that case, you may need to provide more information about the equation and any additional settings you have applied, so further assistance can be provided.

I expect your domain is wrong. Probably should consult the manual that came with the calculator, doncha think? Or google that message?
