I used my gas tank and used 7/16 of gas. Then I used another 1/3 of the remaining gas what fraction of the tank is filled with gasoline.

My Answer is 7/8 of the tank is filled.

1 - 7/16 = 9/16

Used 1/3 of that, or 3/16, leaving 6/16 = 3/8
