I don't get what word to choose:

Estudias mucho, ¿ (blank)?

Do I fill it in with verdad or gusto?
Why?

Fill it with verdad. It's asking "You study alot, right?"

Thanks btw what would gusto mean?

Obviously, this was not my post.

To determine whether to fill in the blank with "verdad" or "gusto," you need to understand the meaning and usage of both words in the context of the sentence.

"Verdad" means "truth" or "really" in English. It is used to seek confirmation or agreement. For example, "¿Verdad?" is used to ask if something is true or correct.

On the other hand, "gusto" means "like" in English. It is used to express one's preferences or enjoyment. For example, "Me gusta bailar" means "I like to dance."

In the given context, "Estudias mucho, ¿(blank)?" translates to "You study a lot, (blank)?" Here, you are asking for the person's opinion or feeling about studying a lot.

Since you are seeking the person's opinion, the correct word to use would be "gusto." So, you would fill in the blank with "gusto": "Estudias mucho, ¿gusto?" meaning "Do you like it?"

Look the word up in a dictionary.
