My answers to these questions are the following:
). Trinidad is the Caribbean island that is rich in natural gas, which has impacted the economy by, due to new factories, turning Trinidad into a major exporter of methanol and ammonia and also attracting developers to the island.

). Rain forests is the dominant vegetation of the Amazon river basin.

). The main disadvantage of slash-and burn farming is the fact that the soil becomes exhausted, or drained of all of its nutrients from the land.

). It seems that there is a repetition of question 3. The main disadvantage of the slash-and-burn method of growing crops is indeed the fact that the soil becomes exhausted, losing its fertility over time. Additionally, the burning of vegetation releases harmful gases and contributes to deforestation, leading to environmental degradation.

). Most of the mountains in South America are located along the western coast, forming the Andes mountain range. The Andes stretch over 7,000 kilometers (4,300 miles), running through several countries including Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.

). Some examples of mineral and energy resources found in abundance in Latin America include gold, silver, iron, copper, bauxite (aluminum ore), tin, lead, nickel, oil, coal, natural gas, uranium, and hydroelectric power. These resources have played a significant role in the economy of many countries within the region, contributing to their development and export capabilities.
