My essay is about conformity and rebellion. I need a really good conclusion. My intro is this:

In life there will be certain situations in which we will have to stay in order or choose to make our decisions ourselves. For example there will be times when conformity will strike or rebellion and those will be the difficult times when we will have to make decisions. In the short stories "lenses" and "Harrison Bergeron"we will see examples of both these situations and how they were dealt with.

Please help me write a good concluding paragraph. Thanks

I have to write from specific to general in my concluding paragraph and can't have any contractions, no 1st person or second person , no rhetorical questions , no in conclusion, in summary, etc

If you wrote your introduction right, you went from general to specific (the last sentence being your thesis statement). Is that right? So you just reverse that for your conclusion.

Here are some really good ideas for writing conclusions on these webpages:

I have some questions/comments about your intro, though. First of all, conformity doesn't "strike" and you have no verb for "rebellion." I think you need to rethink and rewrite that particular sentence.

Once you draft your conclusion, please repost, and I'll check it over for you.

In conclusion, the contrasting concepts of conformity and rebellion play a vital role in shaping one's individuality and the society as a whole. Through the analysis of the short stories "Lenses" and "Harrison Bergeron," it becomes evident that conformity often leads to a stifling of personal identity and potential, whereas rebellion can challenge oppressive systems and pave the way for progress and growth. While conformity may offer a sense of security and belonging, it is essential to recognize the importance of questioning societal norms and embracing one's uniqueness. By juxtaposing and examining the consequences of conformity and rebellion in these stories, we are compelled to consider the significance of individual choices and the impact they have in shaping our lives and society. Ultimately, the decision to conform or rebel lies in our hands, and it is through critical thinking and self-awareness that we can navigate these complex situations and forge our own paths towards personal fulfillment and a more inclusive world.

To craft a strong conclusion for your essay on conformity and rebellion, it is crucial to summarize the main ideas presented in your body paragraphs while leaving a lasting impact on your readers. Here's a suggested concluding paragraph:

In examining the short stories "Lenses" and "Harrison Bergeron," we have encountered two distinct perspectives on conformity and rebellion. While "Lenses" sheds light on the corrosive effects of conforming to societal expectations, "Harrison Bergeron" unveils the power of rebellion in dismantling oppressive systems. From these narratives, it becomes evident that the choice between conformity and rebellion is not a simple dichotomy, but a complex interplay between personal freedom and societal norms. As we navigate through life, we must remember that conformity may bring stability, but rebellion can ignite progress and change. By evaluating our circumstances and considering the potential consequences, we can make informed choices and aim for a harmonious balance between conforming when necessary and rebelling when justified. Ultimately, it is through introspection and critical thinking that we can find our own unique path amidst the conflicting forces of conformity and rebellion.

Remember, this is just a suggested paragraph. Feel free to modify and adapt it based on the specific points and ideas you have developed in your essay.
