  1. Write and balance the equation.

    Zn + 2HCl ==> ZnCl2 + H2

    mols Zn = grams/molar mass
    Use the coefficients in the balanced equation to convert mols Zn to mols HCl.
    Now M HCl = mols HCl/L HCl. Youhave mols HCl and M HCl, solve for L HCl and convert to mL.
