How do you know if a steam and leaf display is uniform, unimodal or bimodal?
The mode refers to the most frequently repeated number. If there is only one number that appears more often than others, then that is uni-modal. If there are two popular numbers that occur an equal number of times, then that would be bi-modal. If neither case applies, then that would be uniform.
