how would you solve a problem like this for X:
(1/3=(3^2x+2)
I assume you meant
1/3 = 3^(2x+2)
then , since we can make the bases the same ....
3^-1 = 3^(2x+2)
2x+2 = -1
2x = -3
x = -3/2
(1/3=(3^2x+2)
1/3 = 3^(2x+2)
then , since we can make the bases the same ....
3^-1 = 3^(2x+2)
2x+2 = -1
2x = -3
x = -3/2
