can someone correct them for me.

for this inequality:
x>4

it is an open circle which looks like this:
0------------>
and the open circle on 4 with a solid line going through the x axis straight on zero.so it would be: (4,0)(5,0)etc......

for the following:
3x>=2x-4

will be a closed circle on -4 and it will be a straight line going on zero of the x axis: (-4,0)(-5,0)(-6,0)etc

for the last one:
7(x-3)>5x -14

will be on -1 an open circle going straight on the x axis.so the points that follow will be: (-1,0)(0,0)(1,0)etc....

For the first one, (4,0) has an open circle on it; it doesn't count as a point that works.

For the second one, you are right in that it is >= -4, but then the points you gave are <= -4. The points would be (-4,0)(-3,0)(-2,0)etc.

For the last one, the inequality ends up being 2x>7, or x>3.5. So the points would be (all numbers greater than 3.5,0). I don't know where you got the -1 from!

To correct the answers:

First inequality:
The inequality x > 4 represents all the values of x that are greater than 4. The correct representation would be an open circle at 4 and a solid line extending to the right. So, the graph would look like this:

0-------------->
(4,0)(5,0)(6,0)...

Second inequality:
The inequality 3x >= 2x - 4 represents all the values of x that satisfy the condition 3x is greater than or equal to 2x minus 4. To graph this, we first need to simplify the equation. Subtracting 2x from both sides gives x >= -4. So, the correct representation would be a closed circle at -4 and a solid line extending to the right. The graph would look like this:

--------------->
(-4,0)(-3,0)(-2,0)...

Third inequality:
The inequality 7(x-3) > 5x - 14 represents all the values of x that satisfy the condition 7(x-3) is greater than 5x minus 14. Simplifying this equation, we get 2x > 7, which means x > 3.5. The correct representation would be an open circle at 3.5 and a solid line extending to the right. The graph would look like this:

--------------->
(3.5,0)(4,0)(5,0)...

Remember, when representing inequalities graphically, it's important to correctly identify open and closed circles as well as the direction of the line.
