Guys! I have 2 essays due this week, 1 tomorrow and another on Friday.

The first essay is an expository piece.
(The relationship between a mother and her child is quite different to the relationship between a child and its mother. Explain the difference, and the consequences of that difference.

The second essay is an expository piece as well.
(During wartime, civilians have to make sacrifices to support the efforts of the soldiers at the front. Research the sacrifices made by Australian civilians during the Second World War and compare/contrast them with the sacrifices made by Australian civilians in wars this century)

I can't think of any points that i can write. I just need a few main points for each essay as I am only allowed to write no more than 700 words.

Mother - takes care of child

Child - doesn't take care of mother

Use the phrasing "different from" not "different to" in your writing.

What have you come up with in your research for the second question?

I have one due in less than a week!! I need help. All this corona virus stuff I have not had a chance to even look at this. Help!!

For your first essay on the difference between the relationship between a mother and her child versus a child and its mother, here are a few main points to consider:

1. Role reversal: Explore how the dynamics can differ when the child grows up and takes on a caregiver role for the aging mother. Discuss the implications of this role reversal on the mother's sense of identity and the child's responsibilities.
- To find supporting points, you can research studies or personal stories about adult children taking care of elderly parents and the unique challenges they face.

2. Emotional bond: Analyze the emotional connection between a mother and her child in comparison to the child's bond with their own mother. Examine the impact of this bond on both parties, such as the level of trust, dependency, and sense of security.
- You can find relevant points in psychology literature or explore real-life examples and anecdotes that highlight the distinct characteristics of these relationships.

3. Biological vs. chosen connection: Explore the significance of the biological bond between a mother and her child versus the bond formed between a child and its mother through adoption or other non-biological means. Discuss the potential implications for attachment and identity formation.
- Consider researching studies or articles on adoption and its impact on the child's sense of belonging and connection to their adoptive mother.

For your second essay on the sacrifices made by Australian civilians during the Second World War and in wars of this century, here are a few main points to consider:

1. Economic sacrifices: Discuss how Australian civilians contributed to war efforts by participating in rationing, engaging in war bond campaigns, and diverting resources towards the military. Compare the economic sacrifices made during World War II with those made in more recent conflicts.
- To find supporting points, you can search for historical records, government archives, or research articles on the economic impact of war on civilian life.

2. Social and personal sacrifices: Explore the impact of war on Australian civilians’ everyday lives, including separation from loved ones serving in the military, disruption of family and community structures, and changes in societal norms and values. Compare the social and personal sacrifices experienced during World War II with those of conflicts in the 21st century.
- You can find relevant points by studying personal accounts, memoirs, or historical analyses about the experiences of Australian civilians during different wars.

3. Technological advances and changing priorities: Discuss how advancements in technology and changes in warfare tactics have influenced the sacrifices made by Australian civilians in more recent conflicts. Analyze how this has impacted areas such as communication, employment, and safety.
- Consider researching specific examples of technological advancements and their implications for civilians in modern conflicts, such as the use of drones or cyber warfare.

Remember to use these main points as a starting point and expand upon them with specific examples, evidence, and analysis to meet the requirements of each essay. Good luck with your writing!
