My questions is this:

Directions :create one statement in english representing an algebraic representation.

I have this:
SIMPLE PROBLEM: A DOZEN EQQS COST $1.20. WHAT IS THE PRICE OF EACH (1) EGG.
ALGEBRAIC REPRESENTATION OF THIS PROBLEM, QUESTION IS
12E=$1.20 OR 12 EGGS = $1.20 NOW YOU NEED TO DIVIDE 12 EGGS BY 12 TO GET 1 EGG WHICH SAYS YOU NEED TO ALSO DIVIDE THE $1.20 BY 12 TO MAINTAIN A BALANCED EQUATION.
12E/12=$1.20/12
1E=$.10 OR ONE EGG EQUALS $ .10

It seems wrong to me how do i word it or how do i show it for the answer of what the directions ask.From what there is here.

To create an algebraic representation for the given problem, you can start by defining a variable for the price of each egg. Let's use "E" to represent the price of each egg.

Based on the problem, you know that a dozen eggs cost $1.20. Since there are 12 eggs in a dozen, you can write the equation:

12E = $1.20

To find the price of one egg, you need to divide both sides of the equation by 12. This maintains the balance of the equation. So, you have:

12E / 12 = $1.20 / 12

Simplifying this equation, you get:

E = $0.10

Now, you have found that one egg costs $0.10.

Therefore, the algebraic representation of the problem is:
E = $0.10

This equation states that "E" represents the price of one egg, which is equal to $0.10.
