Help!!I have tried this several times and come up with wrong answer. WHAT PERCENTAGE OF A NORMAL DISTIBUTION IS GREATER THAN THE MEAN? (GIVE ANSWER TO NEAREST PERCENT)THIS ONE I GOT 68% AND IT WRONG... AND WHAT PERCENTAGE IS GREATER THAN A VALUE THAT IS 1 STANDARD DEVIATION BELOW THE MEAN? (GIVE YOUR ANSWER CORRECT TO THE NEAREST PERCENT) THIS ONE I GOT 89% AND IT WAS WRONG. NOT SURE WHAT I AM DOING WRONG...

68% is area within ± 1 SD of the mean.

Mean and median in a normal distribution are the same value. What does that tell you?

Find table in the back of your statistics text labeled something like "areas under normal distribution" to find the proportion/probability related to the Z score, the score in terms of standard deviations.
