  1. notice that every time x increases by 2, y decreases by 1. So, a first guess would be

    y = -1/2 x

    But, -1/2 (2) = -1, and y(2) = 1, so we need to add 2 at the start. So,

    y = 2 - 1/2 x

    Check it out and you see it fits.

  5. But 6*1/2-2=1, we need -1. did I do something wrong? the other two were correct.

  6. Do what steve said but instead of x do 6 so,
    y=2-1/2*6

    I think you mixed something up.

  12. Steve's right because for the first function x and y if you do 2-1 you get 1 and then divide 1 by 2= 0.5 and 0.5 x 2=1 and y is 1 so it adds up.

  27. @Lemon Boy how do you not go to LL? When i dont go for a while my thingy says i need to. And how can you not call teachers? I thought that was mandatory

  28. @Cicada the calls aren't mandatory every day. They're every month and @Lemon boy you have to go to Las because it'll count as your participation grade and it also lets the teachers to know you're there. If you don't go then that's when you have to call them.

    i’m failing math and i have to submit 20 lessons by tomorrow.
    love y’all, good luck.

  33. I got full credit by saying y= -1/2x +2

    y decreases by 1 so it’s -1
    x increases by 2 so it’s 2
    = -1/2x

    If x was 0, then what would be y?

    Since the difference in x column is +2, you take away 2 to get 0.

    Since the difference in the y column was -1, you add 1 to get 2.

    Hope this helped!
