How do you solve -3/4 divide by 1/10

you have to convert it and multiply it...

-3/4 times 10/1=-15/2 or -7.5

You actually have to only remember to flip and multiply.

That is how I learned it.

(-3/4)/(1/10) flip the 1/10 so you get 10/1 which is the same as 10 then you can multiply it by the fraction that is being divided.

(-3/4)*(10/1)= -7.5

thats just what i said in my post....you didn't have to repeat my answer

To solve -3/4 divided by 1/10, you can simply follow these steps:

Step 1: Keep the first fraction (-3/4) as it is.
Step 2: Flip the second fraction (1/10) to find its reciprocal, which is 10/1.
Step 3: Now, multiply the two fractions together.

(-3/4) * (10/1)

Step 4: Multiply the numerators (-3 * 10) to get the new numerator, which is -30.
Step 5: Multiply the denominators (4 * 1) to get the new denominator, which is 4.

Therefore, the result of -3/4 divided by 1/10 is -30/4.

However, it is always a good practice to simplify the resulting fraction. In this case, we can simplify -30/4. Both the numerator and denominator share a common factor of 2. Divide both the numerator and denominator by 2 to get:

-30/4 = -15/2 = -7.5

So, -3/4 divided by 1/10 is equal to -7.5.
