I have to choose a healthcare organization and discuss the accountability, internal and external factors I know how to do the assignment. I need to know how to find the names that would have the information available online. what would I google for?

You could try different well known companies/hospitals. Once you start researching, you'll undoubtedly find a way to narrow down your topic.

You may have to search and research, but once you learn some good sources and methods, you should have success. In addition to searching on the Internet, you also need to make best friends with the reference librarian(s) in your local or college library. Libraries these days subscribe to enormous research databases, and they are often usually more useful than Internet searches. Ask your librarian if you have access to EBSCOHost -- it has several databases within it, including a huge one for academic research, at least three for health sciences, one for military and government, and others.
For Internet searching:

At this webpage, you can go immediately to the search sites (first three columns across the top) -- or even better you can scroll down until you see the section called HOW TO SEARCH THE INTERNET. Those are the links to start with. You'll not only learn how to come up with good search terms, but also how to evaluate the webpages you get as results. Some will be good and others will be garbage. You need to know how to tell the difference.

My favorite way to search is to go to Google's advanced search page http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en and put my search words or phrases into the first or second search box (either "all the words" or "exact phrase"). Another is to start out at http://scholar.google.com. However, there many other strategies for searching you can use, and the HOW TO SEARCH THE INTERNET section will help you best.

To find healthcare organizations and gather information about their accountability, internal factors, and external factors, you can use various online resources. Here are a few helpful search terms you can use on search engines like Google:

1. Healthcare organizations: Start by searching for general healthcare organizations. Try keywords like "healthcare organizations," "healthcare institutions," or "healthcare providers" to get a list of potential organizations.

2. Hospital directories: If you specifically want information about hospitals, search for hospital directories or listings. Use phrases like "hospital directory," "hospital listings," or "hospital database" to find platforms that list hospitals and their details.

3. Medical associations: Many healthcare organizations are associated with medical associations or groups. Searching for medical associations in your country or region can lead you to relevant organizations. For example, if you're in the United States, you can search for "medical associations in the US" or "American medical associations."

4. Healthcare ratings and rankings: Websites that rate and rank healthcare organizations can provide valuable information regarding accountability and quality. Search for terms like "healthcare ratings," "hospital rankings," or "healthcare performance reports" to find well-known rating agencies or websites that evaluate healthcare organizations.

5. Local healthcare organizations: If you have a specific geographical location in mind, consider adding the location to your search terms. This can help you find healthcare organizations in a specific area. For example, "healthcare organizations in New York City" or "hospitals in London."

Remember, as you find potential healthcare organizations, visit their websites or explore their online profiles to gather information about their accountability, internal factors (such as governance structure, policies, and practices), and external factors (such as regulatory compliance, partnerships, and community engagement).
