Is there any websites for teens to read short stories (or long), then you answer ONLY multiple choice questions, grade you, and to have a profile or something to see all of your grades if your making progress each time (to see if your improving).

I want to improve my reading comprehension (I have trouble with making an inference and sometimes author purpose). I really want to get a high 3 or 4 on the NYS ELA Exam because my English teacher said that this year it's going to be harder (the good thing is the there's no listening only multiple choice questions and short response questions).

I'm REALLY good with short response questions but sometimes have trouble with multiple choice questions but only on inference and sometimes author purpose. If you give me a lot of websites for that I'll be soo happy. The grading part will help me if see if I'm making progress. Also I'm hoping they have this chart or something to see my strengths and weakness so I can keep improving.

Please help this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME!!!!

PS --- Is there any math websites for teens (NYS 8TH GRADE MATH ONLY!) to practice to get a higher score on the NYS Math test (a website that can also grade you to and to keep track of your progress). Same thing for the science (NYS 8TH GRADE SCIENCE ONLY!) to get a higher score on the NYS Science test.

Please help this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME!!!!

btw - im in the 8th grade

Yes, there are websites that can help you improve your reading comprehension and provide you with multiple choice questions to practice. Here are a few options:

2. Newsela (https://newsela.com/): Newsela provides news articles on a wide range of topics with adjustable reading levels. Each article comes with comprehension quizzes that include multiple choice questions. You can create a free account to keep track of your progress.

3. CommonLit (https://www.commonlit.org/): CommonLit offers a collection of high-quality short stories, poems, and informational texts. Each text is accompanied by multiple choice questions and other comprehension activities. You can create an account to track your progress and access personalized recommendations.

4. Achieve 3000 (https://www.achieve3000.com/): Achieve 3000 provides articles and activities that are customized to your reading level. For math practice specifically tailored to the NYS 8th grade curriculum, you can try:

1. Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/): Khan Academy offers comprehensive math courses aligned with various state standards, including NYS. You can access video lessons, interactive exercises, and quizzes to practice specific topics. The site tracks your progress and provides personalized recommendations.

2. EngageNY (https://www.engageny.org/): EngageNY is the official website for the New York State Education Department. It provides free resources, including math modules, practice exams, and released test questions specific to the NYS curriculum.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a specific website for NYS 8th grade science practice with grading and progress tracking features. However, you can try utilizing resources such as your textbook, past exams, and online science practice quizzes to enhance your knowledge and understanding.

Remember, consistent practice, reviewing your mistakes, and seeking help when needed are key to improving your skills. Good luck with your preparations!
