how would tides be different if the moon revolves as fast as the earth rotate
Certain parts of the Earth that always face the moon, or are on the opposite side from the moon, would have a permanent high tide. In between, there would be permanent low tide. There would still be seasonal variations due to the tilt of the Earth's axis. The sun would also cause some variation during each day.
