Which of the following words is different from the others?

A. Sell
B. Trade
C. Barter
D. Bargain

Trade is the only word with a long vowel sound.

Are you sure that's correct because someone told me the answer is Sell or Bargain

It seems to me that all of these words have to do with buying and selling merchandise.

Have you been studying buying and selling? Or have you been studying vowel and consonant sounds?

buying and selling

Perhaps the outlying word is bargain, as the other three words imply a finished transaction. Bargaining is just a process.

Check through your notes and your text for more clarification.

I think Sell is different.

So your saying the answer is Bargain?

so is it sell or bargain?

You've had two different opinions. It's now up to you to make a decision, based upon what you've learned in this class.

My brother and I both think it's sell.
