2. Is this correct, I guess my son was trying to figure the answer by adding it to the perimeter of the picture.

3. The answer is 280cm2, ill explain why...

the picture's length is 60cm. The frame is 5 cm wide so u have to add five centimeters to the left and to the right which equals ten centimeters. 60+10=70cm. now you have to multiply four to it which = 280cm2
