Miriam orders a shipment of 1500 pounds of ice for her supermarket. The ice comes in individual 5 pound bags that cost Miriam orders$2.50 each.

Miriam sells the bags for 30% more than her cost.

How much profit, in dollars, will Miriam's supermarket earn from the sale of 1 shipment of ice?

I did answer this one earlier.

I need help!!! Whats the name of the other person you did it to?

If you look before this note. You will see your problem listed below. If you don't see it let me know and I will do it again.

I'm so confused on how to do it

It is Megan... write below us.

Ok but I don't knoe how to do it

Did you read my answer to her questions?

We start by dividing 1500 by 5 lbs per bag to get the number of bags which is 300

Since each bag costs 2.50 and we have 300 of them. we paid how much?

Once you get that answer multiply by 30% or .30 to get the profit.

Paid $750 if u multiply 2.50 and 300. Then I multiply 750 and get 225. Fo I subtract that from 750 and get 525 or is it the snswer $225?

$225 is the profit.

they will sell the ice for $750 + 225 which is $975 total.

So 975$ is the answer to the whole math problem?
