#2. Not sure what the scrambled symbols are, but
domain is -5 <= x <= 5
range is -5/3 <= y <= 5/3

#3. Since + came out ok, I assume the equation is

x^2 - y^2 = 16

As you say, x- and y-axes are the axes of symmetry

x^2/9 + y^2/25 = 1
