Create a picture illustrating a mathematics problem in a simplified, engaging and visually appealing way. Display an equation 'x + 3/3 = y + 2/2' and a second equation 'x/3 =?' separately. Make sure to visualize the equation in an attractive and understandable manner using assorted geometric shapes or artistic line styles but make sure the image does not contain text. The image should be set on a comfortable and appealing background that is conducive to studying.

if x+3/3=y+2/2, then x/3=?

whats the answer? I think its y/2. but im probly wrong. please explain to me.

(x+3)/3 = (y+2)/2

x/3 + 1 = (y+2)/2
x/3 = (y+2)/2 - 1
= (y+2-2)/2
= y/2

good work

@Steve how did you get the 1?

he got one because since the x has no value yet x would equal to 1

Steve is the big brain and makes the rest of us feel dumb which I can't argue with that and neither should anyone else.

thanks so much!!!

thanks mate

I think because you divide the 3 on top by the three on the bottom and 3 divided by 3 is 1 but idk how you put the negative 1 in the parenthesis, can you actually do that?

Steve is very big brain and we do not question

Guys nvm I can explain Steve in x+3/3 you basically have a x/3 and a 3/3 times eachother same as the y side but instead it’s 2/2 and y/2 and 2/2 and 3/3 are both 1 so you basically have x/3+1=y/2+1and you take the ones away and get x/3=y/2

How did he get rid of x/3?
