Two questions.
1. Jordan has 4/5 as many DVDs as Joseph. If Jordan has 56 DVDs, then how many does Joseph have?
I did this and are my steps correct?
4/5 x 1/56 = 4/224
Then I divide 4/224 = 56
2.Elizabeth has 1 7/10 as many plants as Rosalie has in her garden. If Elizabeth has 51 plants, how many plants does Rosalie have in her garden?
17/10 x 1/51 = 17/510 = 30 plants
What am I doing wrong on these??

For answer 1. Solve 56 x 5/4.
When multiplying a fraction by a whole number,
write the whole number as a fraction over 1
look for factors to simplify the multiplication
multiply the numerators
multiply the denominators
write the product as a fraction in simplest form.
For answer 2. Solve 1 & 7/10x=51

The answer to the first one is 70
2. to make it easy to do make the mixed fraction to improper fraction multiply the denominator by the whole number when you are done divide the answer that you got by the numerator the answer is 30

2. 1 10/7 x 51/1 = 510/17 = 30 so Rosaline has 30 plants.
