I'm trying to get ahead of my class and do the in class project at home but I can't figure out what 20 as a fraction is. Can anyone help me out?

Oh and my guessed answer was 20/30

20/30 = 2/3

20 as a fraction can be
20/1
40/2
60/3

Thank you very much

Of course! I'd be happy to help you with that. To express 20 as a fraction, we need to put it over a denominator. The denominator represents the number of equal parts into which the whole is divided. In this case, since we're converting a whole number, the denominator will be 1. When a whole number is written as a fraction, the whole number becomes the numerator, and the denominator is 1.

Therefore, 20 as a fraction is simply 20/1.

So when you're doing your in-class project at home and encounter questions like this, all you need to do is put the given number over 1, and you'll have the fraction representation of the whole number.
