Well done! Just a few things. If you don't know how to put accent marks (instead of hyphens) on letters, I need to know 2 things. 1) Do you have a Mac or a PC and 2) Do you have Windows or not? Studying Spanish, it is essential that you learn how to do the accents on a computer and that you put them where they belong.

Next time, if you could please put the answers WITH the item, my old eyes will have less trouble. It is very difficult for me to slide up and down, etc. Therefore I did all your homework first and then I had the answers with yours.

It is well nigh impossible for me to read those diamond-shaped ?'s!

Here are the few things:
In J, the last one requires an accent mark on "Tú" before viniste.

In K, you skipped the 2nd one: Carmen y yo "dijimos"

In D it would have been impossible to decide Preterit or Imperfect if your teacher had not given the English cue for the Imperfect. Sometimes ONLY the speaker (or writer) an decide what s/he has in mind!

To answer this question, you need to understand the difference between the preterite and imperfect tenses in Spanish.

The preterite tense is used to express completed actions in the past. It is often used to indicate specific past events or actions that happened once or for a specific duration. It is typically formed by adding specific endings to the verb's stem.

The imperfect tense, on the other hand, is used to describe ongoing or continuous past actions, as well as habitual or repeated actions in the past. It is used to set the background or provide context for other events in the past. It is usually formed by adding specific endings to the verb's stem.

Now let's analyze each question:

A. The correct preterite tense conjugation for "tú (dar)" is "diste." To conjugate the verb "dar" in the preterite tense for "tú," you take its stem "d-" and add the appropriate ending "-iste."

B. The correct imperfect tense conjugation for "las gatas (ir)" is "iban." To conjugate the verb "ir" in the imperfect tense for "ellas," you take its stem "i-" and add the appropriate ending "-ban."

C. The correct preterite tense conjugation for "Juan (dormir)" is "durmió." To conjugate the verb "dormir" in the preterite tense for "Juan," you take its stem "dorm-" and add the appropriate ending "-ió."

D. In order to determine whether the tense should be imperfect or preterite, you can substitute "was/were ...ing," "used to ...," or "would (meaning used to) ..." for the verb. For the sentence "Every day I visited my aunt," the correct preterite tense conjugation is "visité" because it indicates a completed action that happened in the past.

E. The sentence "The house was white" describes how things were or what things were like in the past, so the correct verb form is "era" in the imperfect tense.

F. To form the correct preterite conjugation for "buscar," you need to add the appropriate ending to its stem. The missing letters to form the preterite conjugation for "yo busqué" are "qué" added to the stem "busc-."

G. The correct preterite tense conjugation for "Juan y María (leer)" is "leyeron." To conjugate the verb "leer" in the preterite tense for "ellos," you take its stem "le-" and add the appropriate ending "-yeron."

H. For the sentence "Las chicas hablaron con el profesor," you need to decide between preterite or imperfect and conjugate the verb correctly. Since the sentence indicates a specific past event, the correct form is "hablaron" in the preterite tense.

I. The phrase "She used to call me every night" suggests a habitual action in the past, so the correct form is "Ella me llamaba" in the imperfect tense.

J. To form the correct preterite conjugation for the given verbs, you need to add the appropriate ending to their stems. The missing stems to form the preterite conjugations are "uv-" for "tener," "ieron-" for "poder," "us-" for "poner," "sup-" for "saber," and "vin-" for "venir."

K. The correct preterite tense conjugations for "el chofer (conducir)" and "Carmen y yo (decir)" are "condujo" and "dijimos," respectively. To conjugate the verb "conducir" in the preterite tense for "él/ella/usted," you take its stem "conduc-" and add the appropriate ending "-io." To conjugate the verb "decir" in the preterite tense for "nosotros," you take its stem "dij-" and add the appropriate ending "-imos."

For the verb "tú (traducir)," the correct preterite tense conjugation is "tradujiste." To conjugate the verb "traducir" in the preterite tense for "tú," you take its stem "traduc-" and add the appropriate ending "-iste."

L. The correct form for "They found out the news yesterday" is "Supieron las noticias ayer" in the preterite tense, as it indicates a completed action that happened in the past.

For "We succeeded in lifting the piano," the correct form is "Pudimos levantar el piano" in the preterite tense, as it indicates a specific past event.
