The title of Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun represents the dreams of the characters in the play and how they become crushed. Walter’s dream represents a plump raisin because in his mind it has potential. He constantly thinks about it, waiting for the insurance check that will help him fulfill his dream. In addition, Walter’s mom has a dream, saying, “Been thinking that we maybe could meet the notes on a little old two-story somewhere, which a yard where Travis could play” (44). Mama’s dream also symbolizes a raisin, but her “raisin” competes with Walter’s “raisin” for the insurance money. This foreshadows a problem between the two characters. Toward the end of the play, Walter admits his loss of the insurance money, saying, “Yessss! All of it… It’s all gone…” (129). Because of Walter, everyone’s dreams are crushed, suggesting raisins drying up in the sun. As the raisin dries up, the chance of the dream’s fulfillment lowers, forcing the family to work harder to “repair” the raisin and restore their dream. 2 or more paragraphs in the body of the paper. Each of these needs to completely state and explain the points you are making in your THESIS STATEMENT.
Conclude - 4 or 5 sentences summing up your main ideas and restating (not simply repeating) your THESIS STATEMENT.

I should say that this is supposed to be a three chunk paragraph. It's supposed to have this structure. Writeacher, you probably remember when you helped me revise my three chunk paragraph for Oedipus the King.
I don't mean you should start from scratch. You will need to reorganize your sentences and add to them, in the process of structuring a true essay.
No intro or concl???
The first and last sentences are the intro and conclusion, respectively.
You need a comma after "saying" in the first paragraph. The title of the play needs to be in italics.
Other than those two things, it's fine as long as you don't need a full intro and full concl.
