ms. sue for essay i be writing i got everything done about real life traditions now i just need few more from story on this topic

Wat expense be paid by beings & by society 4 their unhesitating approval of tradition or brutal social rituals. Do there be rituals that have outlasted their initial usefulness or be retained 4 the wrong motives?

i don't think i focus on second part of that ^ for story, just first part right? the things i get are the expense paid be death, traumatization, community damage, men rule over women so lottery be continued, women not have say. i don't know what else i add from story to give more examples.

  1. Yes, the first part of the question focuses on the story. I can't think of anything to add to your examples from the story.

  4. There are many quotes that show that men rule over women -- but you probably need to write several of them to make your point.

"Bobby and Harry Jones and Dickie Delacroix . . . made a great pile of stones . . . The girls stood aside . . ."

"Soon the men began to gather."

"The women . . . came shortly after their menfolk."

"Soon the women, standing by their husbands . . ."

"The lotter was conducted -- as were the square dances, the teen club, the Halloween program -- by Mr. Summers.
    . . . his wife was a scold."

"Don't you have a grown boy to do it for you, Janey? . . ."

"Guess I gotta fill in for the old man this year."

"Glad to see your mother's got a man to do it."

  6. thanks very much ms. sue :) and i like the title evil lives on, thanks very much :)

"it isn't fair, it isn't right," Mrs. Hutchinson screamed, and then they were upon her.

^^ that quote be used for death?

The children had stones already, and someone gave little Davy Hutchinson a few pebbles.

^^ that be for traumatization little kids?

i also not know what quote to use for community damage.

Also Ms. sue for another example do i mention anyting about the ritual not being followed in the exact same way, like they take out chanting parts, and use paper slips instead of wooden slips.

  7. You're very welcome, Mohammad.

The whole theme is about community damage. Perhaps you could use this quote: "Old Man Warner was saying, 'Come on, come on, everyone.'"

You might use that information about the ritual not being followed in the same way.

  8. thanks very much ms. sue :) for hook how i grab someone attention?

It be gross. It be cruel. It shouldnt be done...? Tradition should be followed in most positive way and not cause harm.
