ms. sue i writing an essay on : is it possible to live a peaceful/happy life in times of today?

I going to write yes it be for this essay, but teacher say that write essay by saying WE, so what be other forms of that I use, I think she said don't use they, people, etc. Also I not sure what to name essay. P.S 3/4 of it be on real life, and 1/4 of it be on the story invitations.

Since this is a personal essay, you need to use we, us, our, ours -- which are plural personal pronouns. Can you use I?

How about "Living the Good Life" for a title?

Thanks very much ms. sue :) and i not think she want us to use I. but for my introductory paragraph which be the first one, can i use like "Some people can feel contented or do i have to use just those plural pronouns? and change it to people around us may interfere with our feelings, but in the end we should just listen to our heart?

also teacher say we should quote our introductory paragraph with a good quote about making choices in life, she had real good one i wanted to use that one, but she say no one allowed to use that one cause she came with that one. she came up with Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

i not know which other poem or something be even a stronger quote than this one.

Check with your teacher about saying "Some people can feel contented . . ."

Here are some possible quotes.

“You can't make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen.”
― Michelle Obama

"We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
--President Franklin D. Roosevelt

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
― Mae West

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
― Mother Teresa

thanks very much ms. sue :)

i choose this quote

“You can't make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen.”

i not know what to write after this quote, that introduce this theme though. i not get how to start. the quote is sort of tricky so i not really know what to write after it, cause i not want to go off topic.

We live in a scary world with crimes, global warming, and wars. Then go ahead and lead up to your thesis statement.

and i have to mention 3-4 reasons or examples providing examples from story and real life to support that it be possible to live happy life in todays times.

for real example i think of being with family, friends
-spiritual
i not know what other three example i take, like maybe ignoring other people

from story
i only get one example which be that in end she do what her heart desire, and so she listen to her heart not society and stay home and read the book.

thanks ms. sue but do the crimes and stuff fall under falling under pressure of society? cause this essay sort of be on theme of the story of invitations as well.

ms. sue i think this quote be really good

“Whatever you decide, don't let it be because you don't think you have a choice.”

you think so too?

You'll need to define what you mean by "today's times."

Another example from the story is she kept changing her mind about which event to attend. She was looking for the one that would give her the most prestige or importance. She didn't seem to consider which she would really like to do. She also obsessed about what to wear.

Another -- the people outside are miserable because their childhood seems much better than the present.
