I assume you mean (3/2)/[(1/3) + (1/x)]
You could rewrite the denominator as
[(1/3) + (1/x)] = (x + 3)/(3x)
Which would lead to
(3/2)/[(1/3) + (1/x)]
= (3/2)*(3x)/(x+3)= (9/2)[x/(x+3)]
