The equilibrium under investigation is :

H2CO3(aq) * H2O(l) + CO2(g)
How does the pulling and pushing of the plunger affects the equilibrium? Is it consistent with LeChatelier's principle?
my answer is that if you push you increase the pressure volume decrease and the equilibrium will shift to the side with lesser number of moles, and as you pull the plunger you decrease the pressure and increase the volume so the equilibrium will shift to more number of moles. I need help with please thanks

I like everything you said as long as you understand that increasing and decreasing the pressure affect ONLY (emphasize only) the gas, CO2. So increasing P makes it go to the side with fewer mols (which is left); decreasing P makes it go to the side with more mols (which is right).
