Let me know what you decide about your original question.

i'm completely lost. the only thing i found helpful is this.

"For multiple articles by the same author, or authors listed in the same order, list the entries in chronological order, from earliest to most recent."

still i don't have any idea.

OK, here goes!

You need to have each source of information cited in TWO places:

1. the Reference List page that is placed after the last page of your paper, and
2. in parentheses in the text of your paper, immediately after the quotation or paraphrase.

For example, this would go in the Reference List (with proper indentation for the second and following lines):

Martin Kantor (2003). Distancing: Avoidant Personality disorder. Road West, Westport: Praeger Publishers.

... and this would go immediately after the quotation or whatever:
(Kantor, 2003, p. 17)

The actual page number in each in-text citation (the info within the parentheses) will vary depending on where that particular quotation or paraphrase came from.

This page may also help:

Remember these terms:
~ citation = the in-text information, the info in parentheses
~ reference = the full reference to the source, including author, title, pub date, etc.

The proper way to cite all the information from one book but different pages is to use the APA style citation format. Here's how you can cite the book "Distancing: Avoidant Personality disorder" by Martin Kantor with the different pages:

Kantor, M. (2003). Distancing: Avoidant Personality disorder. Road West, Westport: Praeger publishers.

To cite specific pages from the book, you can include the page numbers after the publication information. Each citation should be separate, indicating the specific pages being referenced. For example:

Remember, in APA style, the page numbers should be preceded by "p." for a single page or "pp." for multiple pages.
