  1. Ag=20 * 20 = 400 m^2. = Area of garden.

    As = 400/2 = 200 m^2. = Area of strip.

    L^2 = 200m^2
    L = 14.14 m. = Length of each side of
    unused portion of garden.

    W + L + W = 20 m.
    W + 14.14 + W = 20.
    2W = 20-14.14 = 5.86
    W = 2.93 m. = Width of strip.
