How do you solve tan theta = -3 for 0 < theta < 2pi?
Answer is 1.89 and 5.03
I am unsure on how that answer was obtained
use your calculator to find that arctan(3) = 1.249
But, we have tan = -3, which is in the 2nd and 4th quadrants
pi-1.249 = 1.89
2pi-1.249 = 5.03
