what does an albedo of 1.0 mean ??

  1. 0
asked by destiny
  1. An albedo of 1.0 means that 100% of the light that hits the planet (or other object) is reflected away.

Areas with a white cloud cover or newly fallen snow have an albedo of nearly 1.0
