Ectothermic organisms have body temperatures that vary with the temperature of their surroundings. Discuss the effect this variation might have on the functioning enzymes in these organisms. Suggest ways ectothermic organisms might cope with this problem.

PLEASE I AM STUCK AND I NEED THIS FOR AN ASSIGNMENT!!! I found some information on the internet, but nothing that tells me about enzymes.

  1. Do not many enzymes depend on temperature to be formed? Physical shape and configuration? Could not an organism use this change of reaction rate to benefit itself?
