What is the velocity of an electron ejected, if any, from a piece of metal whose work function is 2.227 x 10^-19 J when a photon whose wavelength is 319 nm hits the metal in a vacuum?

I know the answer is 9.372 x 10^5 m/s, but I am not entirely sure of how to get to this answer. Thank you!

E = (hc/w)-work function

E= (6.626E-34 x 3E8/319E-9) - 2.227E-19
Solve for E, then
E = 1/2*m*v^2 and solve for v in m/s. m is mass electron at 9.11E-31 kg.
I agree with the answer.
