No. You're wrong.

Draw a picture to figure this out.

i did 30 divided by 5 and i got six

Why did you divide by 5?

cause i need five squares to cover a aquare with a side length of 30 inches without over lappigng

but i am really confused

OK. You're on the right track. But remember it's 30 inches on each side.

Draw a picture or try this interactive site.

30

30 30

30
okay now what?

In my drawing I have 5 squares along the side and 5 along the bottom. All together I had 5 * 5 squares = 25.

So i should do

30/6=5
5*5=25

please answer my question i really need help

is 25 the answer?
