Most of your word choices are fine, but if you copied these sentences, you need to put these ideas in YOUR own words.
1. became should be becomes
3. I'd leave out the last words -- with their wide range of knowledge.
You can also give an example for each of these.
Of course, you also need appropriate capitalization and punctuation.
