just like the one with x^1/2,
I think you meant to type
6x^2/3 - 5x^1/3 - 6 = 0
can't do it if it is as you typed it.
let u = x^1/3
then you have
6u^2 - 5u - 6 = 0
(3u+2)(2u-3) = 0
u = -2/3 or 3/2
so, x^1/3 = -2/3 or 3/2
x = -8/27 or 27/8
