The huge tombs of ancient Egypt are called pyramids. They were built to serve as burial sites for the pharaohs, who were the ancient Egyptian kings and rulers. The pyramids were monumental structures made primarily of large blocks of limestone and other stones. They have a distinctive shape, with a square or rectangular base and four triangular sides that meet at a point at the top. The most famous pyramid is the Great Pyramid of Giza, built for Pharaoh Khufu during the Old Kingdom period. It is the largest pyramid ever constructed and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. To find this answer, you can search for "huge tombs of ancient Egypt" or "pyramids of ancient Egypt" on an internet search engine.
