if a brick of mass 7 kg is thrown from a height of 24 ft at an angle of 45 degrees, what impact force will it land with on the ground?

what will be the impact of the force on the brick if it lands on.
a) concrete
b) soft surface

I do not think you copied this question carefully. I can not do it without knowing if the 45 degrees is up or down and the magnitude of that velocity.

As the second half of the question makes clear, it is impossible to compute "impact force" without knowing the springiness of the ground. Force = mass times acceleration. If it hits a hard surface, the force is large because the change in velocity happens fast. If it hits a spring, the force is less because the change in velocity is divided by a larger time to get average acceleration.
