    The voltage of the first battery is twice the voltage of the second and 1/3 the voltage of the third battery. This statement is not definitive.
    does it mean Va=2Vb AND Va=1/3 Vc or does it mean
    Va=2Va+1/3 Vc OR does it mean
    Va=2(Va+1/3 Vc).

    The problem cannot be solved until that is known.

    then A = 2B
    3A = C
    A + B + C = 54

    so A = 12
    B = 6
    C = 36
