Beginning with the systemic veins, track the blood flow through the heart.

Can someone please help me with this? I am having trouble with this.

Use these words to fill in the blanks on the chart:
Systemic arteries, pulmonary veins, left ventricle, right atrium, pulmonary semilunar valve, aorta

Chart
systemic veins---______----______ right AV Valve ---right Ventricle---_____---pulmonary trunk---lungs----_____---left Atrium---left AV Valve---_____---aortic semilunar Valve---______

Since this is not my area of expertise, I searched Google under the key words "Blood flow through heart" to get these possible sources:

http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Blood+flow+through+heart&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

In the future, you can find the information you desire more quickly, if you use appropriate key words to do your own search. Also see http://hanlib.sou.edu/searchtools/.

Thanks, Ive already checked online or I would not have posted the question here. and the key words were what was on the worksheet! Thanks!!!!

To track the path of blood flow through the heart, we'll start with the systemic veins. From the systemic veins, blood enters the right atrium.

From the right atrium, blood flows through the right atrioventricular (AV) valve (also known as the tricuspid valve) and enters the right ventricle.

Next, blood is pumped out of the right ventricle and flows through the pulmonary semilunar valve into the pulmonary trunk.

The pulmonary trunk then splits into the left and right pulmonary arteries, which carry blood to the lungs for oxygenation.

After collecting oxygen in the lungs, blood returns to the heart through the pulmonary veins.

The pulmonary veins empty into the left atrium.

From the left atrium, blood flows through the left atrioventricular (AV) valve (also known as the mitral or bicuspid valve) into the left ventricle.

Finally, blood is pumped out of the left ventricle and passes through the aortic semilunar valve into the aorta.

This completes the circuit, as the aorta carries oxygenated blood to the rest of the body via systemic arteries.

To fill in the blanks on the chart:

systemic veins---pulmonary veins---right atrium---right AV valve (tricuspid valve)---right ventricle---pulmonary semilunar valve---pulmonary trunk---lungs---pulmonary veins---left atrium---left AV valve (mitral or bicuspid valve)---left ventricle---aortic semilunar valve---aorta
