Write these in factored form?

12 +6x
x+x+x+6
x^2 + 3x
x^2 + 4x +3

Combine like terms?

3x + 4x
11 + 5 + 2x + 6x
3x -2 - x + 9
7x - 8 - 11x
x^2 + 2 + 7x + 4 - x
x + 5x + x^2 + 3 + 2x^2

I don't really understand it so if you could help me, thaanks c:

Pt. 1

1) 6(2+x)
2) 3x+6 --> 3(x+2)
3) x(x+3)
4) (x+3)(x+1)

Pt. 2
1) 7x
2) 16+8x
3) 2x+7
4) -4x-8
5) x^2+6x+6
6) 3x^2+6x+3

Sorry.. I'm incapable of explaining it to you but here are the answers. You should really ask your teacher for that extra help as you will need to use these "factoring" and "combining like terms" techniques for the harder math problems in the future. The only tip that I can give you is that parenthesis means multiply.

=) Good luck and get that extra help as an investment your future.
